Internship
Traditionally, the best way to master any craft
was to intern (become an apprentice) under someone who had achieved
excellence in the field you desired. Only in the last decades
has this system changed. But not all change is good. Apprenticeship
faded in part because it is not the best way to reach the masses
and achieve the highest level of success from a business/ marketing
point of view.
Our interest is in training the best practitioners,
not the most.
The books and videos we offer give the TBA student
all the technical and protocol information needed to get results
with TBA. Thus your intern period is not required to begin using
TBA effectively. We set it up this way because we wanted anyone
from any part of the world to be able to practice TBA without
leaving home if their schedule or lifestyle was restricted. We
offer excellent help over the phone and through email for questions
you may have, so it does not matter what corner of the earth you
are trying to practice in. We just want you to help yourself and
those around you with a system that does no harm and addresses
the cause.
Internship is a requirement for Certification
If your interest is mastery of TBA and you would like to observe
how we do it here at the headquarters on real clients, we would
love for you to come observe for two days. If you wish to become
certified, you will be required to Intern for at least two days.
If you do not pass your certification exam, you may be asked to
Intern again. You may Intern as many times as you would like.
As a matter of fact, we have some students who come once or twice
a year just to observe the latest progress in TBA. Your intern
period is for you to see how we interact with clients, how we
explain TBA, how we explain the results acquired from testing,
and most of all, how we create TBA programs. Our goal after two
days with you is that you leave ready and confident to help anyone
with any symptom or disease, and of course, take the Certification
Exam if you feel ready.
Is there any prerequisite to Internship?
You may intern at any time. There is no prerequisite. But we suggest
that you have your kits and you have watched the training videos
and have begun to use your kits. If you come when you are just
starting to learn, your focus will be misplaced on the basic information
you could have learned from the videos. Students often comment
that spending the two days was of most use to see client interaction
and all the advanced testing tricks seen in daily client use that
cannot be put on video. You are free to intern more than once,
so there is no restriction to your coming, but if you intend to
use your time here to master TBA and proceed to certification,
we highly recommend you come when you feel you have learned what
you could from the videos and you are already testing people with
the kits.
Internship schedule
Right now we are only offering internship on Tuesday and Wednesday
of each week Dr. DeHaan is in town. You can fly into the Charlotte,
North Carolina airport and rent a car to get to the Holiday Inn
in Kings Mountain (which is about 25 miles south of the Charlotte
airport on I-85). You can arrive at the hotel any time on Monday,
then drive the two miles to our office and meet us at 9:15 a.m.
on Tuesday morning. You will have lunch with us at a local cafe,
then continue the day until 5:00 pm when we finish with our last
client. This schedule is repeated on Wednesday. You are free to
fly out Wednesday evening or Thursday.
Internship gets you the Practitioner
user name and password
We do not require that you become certified in order to practice
TBA. But we do insist that you come do your Internship before
we allow you into the Practitioner Login section you see to the
left of the screen. This section contains all the forms you will
need to practice TBA (client disclaimer form, evaluation form,
labels to put on remedy bottles, etc.) This section also contains
a Blog where practitioners post questions, comments and so forth.
It is a wonderful place to interact with the TBA community around
the world.
